The 4th Global Sustainable Technology and Innovation Community conference (G-STIC 2020), taking place from the October 26 to 28, will gather live from Brussels and online, world-renowned speakers on sustainable development.
The conference programme contains plenary sessions and thematic and thematic and deep-dive sessions on 7 societal challenges and 3 cross-cutting themes, being some of them the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), the Circular Economy or Climate
For our ERA-MIN and raw materials community we recommend the deep-dive session Connecting digital and circular strategies, scheduled on the 27th of October 2020, from 15:15 to 16:30 CET. It will include information on the use and wear of materials related with electronics and how new circular business models are emerging. The consideration of the impact of functional electronics on product chains, in terms of recyclability, energy and resource needs, and dispersion of materials will also be included in the session.
