PROMETIA webinar on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) will take place on 31 August 2021 from 10:00 to 16:30 (CEST) and will focus on the sustainability assessment (targeting economic, environmental and social impacts) in the industrial development of innovative solutions in the mining and recycling sector.

The objectives are to:  

• Address scientific and technical challenges associated with LCA and carbon footprint methods within PROMETIA’s field of activity
• Present different case studies from industry and R&D actors
• Give an overview of new methodology developments in the raw materials and circular economy sectors
• Facilitate collaboration between LCA experts and engineers and researchers.  

The online event will have two main sessions:   

1. Morning session: LCA and Mineral Resources: An Overview
2. Afternoon session: LCA and Mineral Resources: Project Results
