As Europe’s premier raw materials event, the RM Summit provides a holistic view of the raw materials ecosystem in the EU and beyond. Bringing together representatives from industry, policymakers, academia, investors and civil society from across Europe and further afield, the 4th RawMaterials Summit will take place in Berlin from 23-25 May 2022. The event will present the latest innovations and policy initiatives, as well as the brightest new start-ups from across the raw materials value chain. Furthermore, participants will gain a unique opportunity to network with key actors from around the sector, exchange ideas and do business. As raw materials take centre stage in the shift to a carbon-neutral economy, don’t miss this opportunity to connect with the top players in this transition!

ERA-MIN2 and ERA-MIN3 are organising a joint workshop entitled: “From lab to market – opportunities for creating a unique collaborative environment for innovations to address raw materials challenges” on the 24th May, between 16:00 and 18:00 (not yet visible in the event program) and an exhibition stand at the RawMaterials Summit conference 2022 which takes place from 23rd to 25th May 2022, in Berlin.

This workshop aims to build the capacity and strengthen the transnational R&I community in primary and secondary raw materials focusing on the cooperation of ERA-MIN with EIT Raw Materials. It further aims to shape and facilitate a multi-stakeholder community of practice, support primary and secondary RM exploitation in research, business, and policy, and establish or strengthen links with other complementary European initiatives and projects interested in cooperating to address common challenges. To maximise the utility and impact of the funded transnational R&I projects, a better linkage with industry-based needs to be addressedThe task force plans to conduct the workshop in a good old fashioned physical way, but attendance is limited; therefore, an event will be "on invitation only".

(The RawMaterials Summit is organised by EIT RawMaterials, the world’s largest consortium in the raw materials sector).
