SUM 2020 - 5th Symposium on Urban Mining and Circular Economy
SUM 2020 - 5th Symposium on Urban Mining and Circular Economy will be held in Venice (Italy) from 18th to 20th November 2020.
After closely monitoring the situation related to the COVID-19 public health emergency, the Symposium was postponed to the end of November and combined it with another IWWG event: Venice 2020 – Eighth International Symposium on Energy from Biomass and Waste, already scheduled to take place in the Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista, a prestigious venue in downtown Venice, from 16-19 November 2020.
The Programme of the Venice Symposium will be rearranged in order to hold the SUM - Symposium on Urban Mining and Circular Economy in Venice, at the Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista from 18th to 20th November 2020.
The Symposium will last 3 days and will be structured in 5 parallel tracks including traditional oral sessions, NetWorking (NeWs) sessions and poster presentations.
Specific sessions will be held entirely in Italian featuring contributions on key contents at a national level. The NetWorking sessions (NeWs) will be the perfect occasion for open discussion of new ideas and perspectives on a specific topic, policy, research or innovation between conference delegates.
