Workshop REVIVING: "New Solutions for Recovering Critical Raw Materials"

The workshop “New Solutions for Recovering Critical Raw Materials” which will take place on January, 30th at Department of the Civil Engineering in the University of Coimbra will gather international experts specialized in this field in two technical sessions.

Antonio Veiga Simão on behalf of the President of the Commission for the Coordination and Regional Development of the Center (CCDR); VR Luís Simões da Silva, representing the University of Coimbra will attend the Opening Session.

Moreover, Jean Martins from the University of Grenoble-Alpes, will give a speech on “Mining waste: From bioremediation to bioleaching for recovery” and Stefano Amaral, from the Foundation for Science and Technology will tackle issues related to “ERA-MIN3 - a Pan-European network to support international R&I projects on raw materials for the sustainable development and the circular economy”.

Mark Dopson, from the Linnaeus University in Sweden, -among other experts-  will complete the sessions offering a perspective on “Strategies of the microbial inoculum production for bioleaching of critical metals”.

This Project is developed within ERAMIN2 Program and financed by each Call Funding Agencies.
