12/06/2018

The European SCRREEN project launched a communication campaign on 26 March 2018 with the aim of raising the European public awareness of the 27 Critical Raw Materials (CRMs). 12 different visuals will be launched in 5 different languages, whose aim will be to make the general public aware of the different forms which CRMs take part in our day-to-day life.

Three visuals are now available:

Visual 1: Thanks to the platinum group metals (platinum, rhodium and palladium) found in its catalytic converter, this car emits less toxic gases.

Visual 2Magnesium, tantalum, silicon: various industries are crazy about these metals used to build cars, solar panels and computer.

Visual 3: Smartphones possess multiple features that would not exist without critical raw materials such as indium, tantalum, silicon, etc.
