INTRAW is a EU-funded project that was launched in February 2015 with the aim of fostering the international cooperation on raw materials. Coordinated by the European Federation of Geologists, the INTRAW consortium is composed of 15 international experienced partners, 22 third parties and 45 independent experts.

One of the main objectives of the INTRAW project is to launch the International Raw Materials Observatory, a new independent, apolitical, international not-for profit organisation, set up to facilitate cooperation on mineral raw materials’ research & innovation, education & outreach, industry & trade and recycling, management & substitution of strategic raw materials between European countries and non-EU countries. The launch event will be held in Brussels on 7th November 2017. Save the date and participate in a discussion to unveil future challenges of metals and minerals’ provision.
