The annual PDAC (Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada) Convention is the world's premier international event for the minerals and mining industry. It has attracted more than 25,000 people from 135 countries in recent years. In 2021 the annual PDAC Convention took place virtually from March 8 to T March 11, 2021.

ERA-MIN3 Coordinator Dina Carrilho (FCT, Portugal), along with other representatives of some funding agencies (Ana Luísa Lavado from FCT, Portugal; Holger Grünewald from Jülich, Germany; Doroteja Zlobec from MIZS, Slovenia; Milvia Soumbounou García from CDTI, Spain; Ms. Rachel Baudry & Ms. Hélène VARLET from ADEME, France, and Jorge Sotelo & Julio Marchamalo from AEI-FECyT, Spain) were representing ERA-MIN network and networking not only with Canada but also with many mining organizations around the world, as well as promoting the EU co-funded Call 2021 during the event.
