Under ERA-MIN Joint Call 2017, 94 pre-proposals were submitted to this Joint Call, involving 493 applicants. The submitted pre-proposals were subject to an eligibility check performed by the Joint Call Secretariat and by the Call Steering Committee in order to confirm compliance with national/regional priorities, rules and regulations.

In parallel, scientific assessments of pre-proposals were remotely performed by the Scientific Evaluation Board, based on the three main evaluation criteria: 1) Scientific Excellence; 2) Impact and 3) Quality and Efficiency of the Implementation.

Finally, a ranked list of pre-proposals was produced based on the final scores and the selection of pre-proposals for the Stage 2 was decided at a Call Steering Committee consensus meeting. As a result, 36 pre-proposals have been invited to submit a full proposal for Stage 2.

The Electronic Submission System (ESS) will open in August for the submission of full proposals and they must be submitted, only via electronic form through the ERA-MIN ESS, by the coordinator of the consortium no later than 28th September 2017, at 17:00:00 CEST.
