ERA-MIN Joint Call 2023 on Raw materials for sustainable development and the circular economy,  ended las 30th of March 2023, and counted with the participation of 23 EU countries/regions and research funding organisations with a total budget of €13.6 million. The pre-proposal submission closed with a total of 48 submitted pre-proposals. 

Some preliminary statistics are the following:

• 49 proposals were submitted by deadline
• 310 applicants, of which 32% are companies
• €52 Million Total Costs
• €42.5 Million Total Requested funding
• €9.5 Million Total Own contribution

22 funding organisations participating in the call have received proposals requesting funding and 31 applicants not requesting funding are from other countries, namely, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, France, Italy, Lithuania, Norway, Serbia, and United Kingdom, 

The 5 main topics have been addressed in the submitted pre-proposals, with the following distribution:
