The METS 2018 is part of the MDNP project that supports cooperation between the EU and Latin America in non-energy extractive industries which is held in Madrid from 10 to 12 April 2018.

The aim of this conference and trade show is to give EU and Latin American partners the forum for promoting the vision of mutual and fruitful cooperation in mining and all related sectors.This event is targeted to governmental, finance, research and industrial groups as well as to the private sector.

On 11th April 2018, the ERA-MIN 2 project was presented by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness of Spain during the Workshop 6: RTD and Innovation. The presentation titled ERA-MIN RTDI projects to foster circular economy was focused on the main ERA-MIN 2 objectives, the statistics of the ERA-MIN Joint Call 2017 as well as the future activities of the ERA-MIN 2.
