The RMIS - Raw Materials Information System - is the Commission’s reference web-based knowledge platform on non-fuel, non-agricultural raw materials from primary and secondary sources. This section provides an overview of the European raw materials context, the policy mandate that underlies the development of the RMIS, its goal and scope. In a concentrated effort to fortify ERA MIN Networking with EU and non-EU initiatives, projects and platforms on local, national, European and international levels (EIT RM and JRC RMIS, other relevant CSAs, ERA-NETs PROMETIA,...),  ERA-MIN3 has developed some strategic activities seeking to map and leverage synergies and complementarities with the aforementioned initiatives.

In this sense, ERA-MIN3 project aims to enhance the exploitation and societal impact of funded projects. This is achieved, in part, by mapping the ERA-MIN funded projects in a database, the dashboard. This categorization is done by subject, research laboratories, and industrial partners and it is accessible through the ERA-MIN3 website. Today, the dashboard database is also accesible through the RMIS website, helping ERA-MIN to spread their results.
