SAVE THE DATE: Launch of the International Raw Materials Observatory

20/09/2017

The launch event of International Raw Materials Observatory will be held in Brussels on 7th November 2017, organised in the frame of the European Commission’s Raw Materials Week. Save the date and participate in a discussion to unveil future challenges of metals and minerals’ provision.

This event will be integrated in a session of the Conference EU-Advanced Mining Countries, organised by DG Grow, from 11.00 to 12.30. In addition, as one of the services the Observatory will provide in the future, an international match-making session between industry and research organizations active in the raw materials sector will be organised at the end of this Conference, from 17.00 to 19.00.

The International Raw Materials Observatory is a new independent, apolitical, international not-for profit organisation, set up to facilitate cooperation on mineral raw materials’ research & innovation, education & outreach, industry & trade and recycling, management & substitution of strategic raw materials between European countries and non-EU countries.

The teaser of the INTRAW project video is now available here.
