This Workshop was held in Sao Paulo (Brazil) hosted by FAPESP on 26th and 27th March 2018, organized by FAPESP, FFG, FINEP and CONFAP.

The aim of the workshop was to present the 5-6 Joint Programming Initiatives to the Brazilian funding and research organizations and facilitate their cooperation. The training session aimed to provide guidance on the design and implementation of a joint call for transnational research projects under the frame of a network of funding organisations. The ERA-NET Cofund ERA-MIN 2 was presented as a successful example. Sofia Cordeiro (FCT) on behalf of the ERA-MIN 2 coordinator moderated the 2 hours Portuguese session, with the presence of 11 Brazilian national and State funding organisations, including Finep.
