EU will be represented at the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC 2019) Convention, which will be held in Toronto (Canada) on 3-6 March 2019, with a booth and a EU Business and networking breakfast. PDAC 2019 is the World’s Premier Mineral Exploration & Mining Convention with over 1,000 exhibitors, 3,500 investors and 25,600 attendees from 135 countries, that will gather companies active in mineral exploration and development sharing the vision of a globally responsible and sustainable minerals industry.

ERA-MIN 2 project coordinator was invited by the EU to provide materials for the EU booth and to be directly involved at the booth and at the EU Business and networking breakfast.

• On 5th March, you are very welcome to the Networking and Business Breakfast “Opportunities in the EU mineral and mining sector” in which Ms Dina Carrilho, ERA-MIN 2 Coordinator (Foundation for Science and Technology from Portugal), will make a short presentation on ERA-MIN 2 - Pan-European Research and Innovation Funding Programmes on Raw Materials to promote the Circular Economy during the session “Research & Innovation opportunities”. The event will take place from 8:00am to 10.30am, in North Building, Room 205D.  Further information is available here.

To raise awareness and promote cooperation opportunities on research and innovation for the raw materials life cycle, the latest research funded projects by ERA-MIN 2 and the future ERA-MIN joint calls for proposals to which companies could apply will be presented and more than 300 flyers will be distributed.
