The European Commission launched the ‘Innovative Materials for Europe’ (IAM4EU), a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) under Horizon Europe for 2025-2027. This initiative aims to enhance the innovation of advanced materials, covering production, processes, and sustainability. It involves experts from both public and private sectors, supporting Europe’s transition to green and digital technologies.

IAM4EU will strategically collaborate on advanced materials research within Horizon Europe, including projects like IRISS. Entities such as AMI2030 and the 2D Materials Initiative (2DMI) have been instrumental in shaping IAM4EU, pushing forward material research and innovation in Europe. IAM4EU aims to place advanced materials at the forefront of innovation, supporting Europe’s industrial sectors in their green and digital transformations.

AMI2030 are pleased to invite participants to reserve time on their calendars for an important workshop taking place on September 19, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The workshop will focus on the Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda (SRIA) for Advanced Materials developed by the IAM4EU partnership.

During the event, the SRIA content will be presented, followed by discussions to collaboratively refine the document based on the outcomes. The participants' expertise and insights will be crucial in shaping the future of advanced materials research in Europe.
