12 transnational R&I proposals are recommended for funding by the Call Steering Committee, which involve 61 applicants, requesting a total of € 8.8 million of public funds and with total costs of €12.7 million.

The joint call had the participation of 24 funding organisations from EU and non-EU countries/regions and was focused on needs-driven R&I on all aspects of the non-energy non-agricultural raw materials (ores, construction, industrial minerals) life cycle, covering both primary and secondary resources and substitution of critical raw materials in a circular economy approach.
